Saskatchewan fielded a team but does not appear to have played for the Race Trophy. The Huskies included Isobel Atcheson, Judy Bulmer, E Carsons, Alice Robinson, Dot Rutherford, Mildred Thackery, G Truenholt, Bernie McCartney and Peg Potter.
Alberta defeated Manitoba 31-14 to win the Cecil Race Trophy, their seventh in eight years. The Pandas ball movement and defense proved the difference. Alberta hit 7-10 from the line, while Manitoba was 2-16. Josie Kopta paced Alberta with 12. Margaret Kinney added 7, Ruth Fry 6, Ethel Barnett 4 and Helen Mahaffy 2, while Vada McMahan was scoreless. Bea York led Manitoba with 5. Berna McKenzie added 4, Aldis Thorlakson 3 and Evelyn Blankstein 2, while Peg McDonald, Isabel McLaren, Nina Cadham and Ieleane Hemphill were scoreless.
