In an “exhibition” game between Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the Bisons prevailed 30-25 as Elsie Gauer scored all the points for the victors. The Huskies did not contend for the Race Trophy. The Huskies included Frances Green, Mary Kennedy, Lois Kingsbury, Agnes Knox, Jessie Mooney, Vic Robson, Evelyn Switzer, Kitty Wilson, Madge Clark and Helen Manson.
Manitoba then ventured to Edmonton and defeated Alberta 24-9 on its home court in the only game played during the season to win the Race Trophy. Alberta appeared nervous and frequently tossed the ball away, while being unable to handle Bison Hilda Fleming. Manitoba opened with a 4-0 run and led 10-6 after one quarter and 16-7 at the half. Fleming led Manitoba with 9 points. Elsie Bauer added 8, Maise Keith 5 and Isabel Cameron 2, while Mary Doupe and Marion Bridgeman were scoreless. Sparkie Alexander led Alberta with 5. Marguerite Cooper added 3, Bee Buckley 2 and Isla Scott 1, while Dorothy Smith, Marjorie Weir, Eleanor Mathews, Ethel Cobb and Lillian Semba were scoreless.
