We allowed them just 27 points and the offence took care of itself.” Dinosaurs coach Tom Bishop said the key was containing Kornak. “The other people on the team are not going to carry them. Their main leaders have to do it.”

The Golden Bears (coached by Brian Heaney) also included James Pratt, Mike Kornak, Brian Jones, Willie Delas, Fred Murrell, Jay Loukes, Darrell Smith, John Waterhouse, Mike McDonald, Ken Ashacker, Tim Becker and Dick Price.
