So I told them at the beginning of the season, that we had a very good chance of going far at OFSAA, and we’ve completed the mission. I’m extremely happy. … I told them we had to play our own game. We can’t play at their pace, we had to play at our pace, and just control the game. Don’t worry about the refs, if they don’t make calls, or they make bad calls, we’ve just got to play our game at the end of the day. Keeping composure was one of the keys, and just have trust in each other.” McLeod added that grade 11 guard Angara Dut, who hit 7 treys while scoring 29, was “amazing. Just amazing. He had an ‘iffy’ couple of games, but he definitely showed up in the finals, and we needed that. I’ve been waiting for that all tournament long. It was great. I’m very, very happy for him.” Carson Bierman led the Blues with 20.
