In the bronze medal match, the Bluefield-1 Bobcats dispatched the Charlottetown Colonel Gray-1 Colonels 42-35. The Bobcats led 9-5 after one quarter. The Colonels led 17-15 at the half. The Bobcats led 29-27 after three quarters. Julie Goodwin paced the Bobcats with 19. Sydney Strain led the Colonels with 17.

In the final, the Charlottetown Rural-1 Raiders clipped the Summerside Three-Oaks-1 Axemen 76-50 to capture their sixth consecutive title. Tournament MVP Amy Plaggenhoef drained a trio from beyond the arc as the Raiders rallied from an early 6-2 deficit to take command with an 11-6 lead. Plaggenhoef told the Charlottetown Guardian that “it’s just getting open and your teammates hitting you. It’s really just everybody working together. … We put in a lot of hard work this season and it was a lot harder just because we weren’t allowed to play all the games that we would have in a normal season. But our coaches and all of our teammates really did a good job at working together and working hard through the whole season and it really paid off.” Raiders coach Peter Lawlor said “we were kind of cold to start the game, and we have games like that where we start cold, and we eventually get it going, but it needs something to give it a kickstart. And (Plaggenhoef) definitely gave it a kickstart and a big one (tonight).” The Raiders led 19-12, 37-20 and 58-33 at the quarters. Three Oaks went on an 8-0 run to start the fourth quarter before Abigail McGeoghegan hit a free throw 1:55 into the final frame and Plaggenhoef drilled a trey to halt the run. Plaggenhoef led the Raiders with 24. Katie Vidito added 15, Sydney Lawlor 13 and Rural player of the game Jaelyn Power 12. Megan MacDonald paced the Axewomen with 14. Paige MacLean added 10, Jill Power 9 and Reagan Betts 8. Emily McKenna was chosen player of the game for the Axewomen. Axewomen coach Garth Turtle said “’m very pleased with the result. I like to win, but I don’t mind losing like that. We hoped to score 40 and we scored 50, so they should leave the gym with their heads held high. They played hard (and) every single kid got to play. … We only played 10 games all year, that’s a third of a normal schedule, so it was really hard for the young kids to get better. We had to be very innovative (with practice) in terms of what drills we put in. We couldn’t keep doing the same stuff.” The game was the last played for the Covid-19 pandemic shut school sports down.
