In the final, the 3rd-seeded Mount St. Vincent Mystics stunned the top-seeded Mount Allison Mounties 58-39 to capture their fourth consecutive ACAA title. The Mounties led 11-9 after one quarter. The Mystics led 24-23 at the half and opened the second half with an 11-2 run as they built a 45-31 lead after three quarters. Mystics coach Mark Forward said his troops were exhausted “but these kinds of days are for them. I’m so proud of them. We have 100 percent respect for the Mounties. They had our number all year; we had close games with them. We’ve been in this situation before – I’m just very proud of the girls.” Emily Holt paced the Mystics with 14 on 6-13 from the floor, 2-6 from the arc, 5 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals.
