Raiders coach Neil Toombs told Saltwire that “we played with some pretty intense defensive pressure and tried to force turnovers. Kensington did a good job handling that. … We ended up getting in a little bit of foul trouble and we had some guys who had to come off the bench and take it up a notch to increase that pressure. We tried to get our offence through our defence.” Tournament MVP Natan Rabayev said the Raiders were motivated to win the 2022-23 provincial title after losing in the semifinals a year ago. “It feels great. We put in a lot of work, and it definitely paid off. We are happy about it.”
