In the final between the two lowest seeds in the draw, the NAIT Ooks (A4) defeated the host Vancouver Island Mariners (B4) 76-71 in overtime to capture their first national crown. The Ooks took a 23-16 lead after one quarter as Aphia Ward notched three treys. The Mariners rallied to within 39-35 on aggressive attacks by Aphia Ward and Ranika Guyton. With Shayce Johnston drawing fouls off dribble-drives, and hit 8-9 from the arc, the Mariners took a 56-54 lead after three quarters. NAIT led 65-63 with 2.5 minutes to play but the Mariners forced overtime by knotting the score on a driving layup. NAIT took a 72-69 lead in overtime when Carly McHarg drained a trey. The Mariners were forced to foul and Aliyah Johnson and Lucy Wilde hit their free throws as the Ooks pulled out the win.
