In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars stomped the 8th-seeded Grand Falls Thomas Albert Lady Elites 101-27 as Savage scored 24, Delong 19, McIsaac 18, Wendlandt 14, Scott 5, Bell 4, Prosser 4, Trevors 4, Graham 4 and Anderson 2. C Jacobs led the Lady Elites with 9. B Bonenfant added 7, V LaForge 5, J Moreau 3 and K Rossignol 3.

       The 4th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans edged the 5th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats 63-62 in overtime as Trenholm scored 14, Oulton 12, Posche 10, Allen 9, Meldrum 8, Morrison 6, Styles 2 and Sharkey 2. Michelle Morgan led the Black Kats with 23. K Veno added 13, K McMullin 12, L Gennings 8, S Ishmael 4 and B Wilson 2.

       The 2nd-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners crushed the 7th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 56-19 as Hoyt scored 23, Hoffman 8, Nice 9, J Johnson 7, Norman 7, Baker 6, Mersereau 4, T Johnson 2 and Evans 1. Krista Perry led the Spartans with 6. Carrie Toner added 4, Joanne Humphrey 4, Cheri Brown 4 and Elaine Williams 1.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats clubbed the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruines 58-36 as Polchies scored 12, Calhoun 9, Lavender 8, Sheen 8, Allen 7, Hendry 6, Wilson 6 and McGann 2. Sharon Ferguson led the Bruines with 11. Shelley Charlong added 8, Trish Murray 4, Ginger Gervain 4, Patricia Giard 4, Andrea Oullette 3 and Bernadette Geraghty 2.

       In the semis, the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats clipped the 2nd-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 46-32 as McGann scored 10, Thibodeau 8, Calhoun 8, Allen 7, Ginson 7, Sheen 4 and Wilson 2. Baker led the Mariners with 12. J Johnson added 8, Nice 6, Hoffman 4, Norman 2 and T Johnson 2.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars blasted the 4th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 81-29 as Savage scored 20, Bell 20, Delong 11, Wendlandt 10, Prosser 8, Graham 6, McIsaac 6, Trevors 4, Scott 2 and Anderson 2. Posche led the Titans with 9. Trenholm added 8, Morrison 5, Oulton 4, Sharkey 2 and Styles 1.

In the final, the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats defeated the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 51-47 as Allen scored 11, player of the game Sheen 9, Calhoun 8, Thibodeau 8, McGann 6, Hendry 5 and Crouse 4.  The Wildcats took command with a 10-2 run in the second half and closed it out with a 16-6 run after the Stars’ Wendlandt picked up her fourth foul. Allen, who sdored 11 on the Wildcats last 19, told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that “I just decided that I was going to do something out there. So put my mind to it and tried harder.” Wildcats coach David Daye said “Melanie can do it. She is capable at any given time. She’s in grade 11 and at the start of the year, I wasn’t sure if she was starting or not. She wanted to prove to me she could start. She proved to me she can start and she proved she can play too. … I had been telling the kids that if they wanted to get their act together, they could do the job. They had some problems with chemistry and so on early in the year and I kept them all they had to do was pull together as a team.”
