        In the other semi, Alberta defeated Quebec 65-57 as Joanne Ross scored 24, Andrea Hlady 13 and Joanne Tegart 10.

        In the 7th-place playoff, Saskatchewan v Manitoba. Manitoba (coached by Brent Graham, assistant Bill Irla) included Arlyn Adam, Michelle Chambers, Pam Flick, Liane Hamm, Terri Martin, Sophia Jelinek, Michelle Jonasson, Ijeoma Ogoms, Ann Schimnowski, Susan Sommerfeld, Adrienne Toogood, Kelly Wynn, Dianne Zunic and Colleen Ledrew.

In the bronze medal match, Quebec defeated British Columbia 83-71. British Columbia (coached by Sue Shaw) included Jenny Sutton, Crystal Caldwell, Izzy Maryntschak, Jacquie Semeniuk, Lori Tarasewich and Loree McPherson (injured knee).

In the final, Ontario dumped Alberta 59-47 as Carolyn Swords scored 17 and Tammy Naughton 16.
