In the final, St. Dunstan’s HS defeated Prince of Wales Collegiate 52-50. St. Dunstan’s was ahead by nine with just over two minutes to play when Prince of Wales went on an 8-0 run. St. Dunstan’s then hit a free throw to move ahead by two but Prince of Wales tied it with a field goal by Jim Ross. St. Dunstan’s got the ball with 25 seconds to play and “shifty John Ross took the ball the length of the court and sank a 15-foot jump shot to put the game on ice for St. Dunstan’s HS.” White led St. Dunstan’s with 19 points. Brian Peters scored 31 for Prince of Wales.
