Our first game wasn’t too difficult but Vancouver and Dalhousie weren’t slouches. Actually, our defence won it for us. It was the difference in the results. We defended all the teams adequately. Give these girls lots of credit. They lacked experience, coming just out of high schook, and they were nervous and tight.”
