The 3rd-seeded Canterbury Celtics clipped the 6th-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 57-45 as Hickey scored 23, Chase 10, Hepple 10, Graham 8, Nicholson 2, Broczowski 2 and Hathway 2. Candy Price led the Panthers with 14. Leah Sunborg added 13, Angela Tyalor 8, Nicole Palmer 6 and Charmagne Bourque 4.
In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Grand Manan Breakers dusted the 7th-seeded Stanley Blue Devils 61-43 as Wilson scored 31, Johnson 12, Rayner 6, Dexter 5, Fitzsimmons 3, Ingalls 2 and Neves 2. Jennifer Harley led the Blue Devils with 17. Theresa Flynn added 8, Carla Douglas 7, Nancy Wilson 6, Tanya Bourque 2, Tanya (Sonya?) In the final, the top-seeded Harvey Lakers torched the 2nd-seeded Grand Manan Breakers 57-38 as Kelly scored 21, Cleghorn 16, VanWoudenberg 8, Swan 8 and Bird 4. Lakers coach John Kirk told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “we started a little slowly. … I didn’t know if we were going to get in there and get any boards or not. But we started to get some boards. And I think when we started changing defences, we took them out of their tempo and that swung the game for us.” Wilson led the Breakers with 12. Rayner added 9, Johnson 8, Dexter 4, Neves 3 and Fitzsimmons 1.
