In the quarterfinals, held in Hartland, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers torched the 8th-seeded Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 106-50 as Colwell scored 38, Harmer 31, Geldart 17, Kim Lewis 6, Bannister 6, Kelly Lewis 4, Elderkin 2, Melvin 2 and Taylor 2. Judy (Julie?) Hubbard paced the Cobras with 26. The Cobras also included Ellen McAllister, Sherri Estey.

       The 6th-seeded Hartland Huskies edged the 3rd-seeded Grand Manan Breakers 66-64 as O’Halloran scred 22, Campbell 15 and Crouse 12. Sharon Wilson led the Breakers with 11. Joyce Brown added 10 and Gail Wilson 10. The Breakers also included Patricia Field, Liz Harvey, Wendy Neves, Lanette Russell, Megan Miller.

       The 2nd-seeded Stanley Blue Devils edged the Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes 46-44 as Corrine Gallagher hit the winner at the buzzer. E Gallagher led the Blue Devils with 27. C Gallagher added 11 and McGillvray 10. The Blue Devils hit 6-18 from the line. Margaret Sullivan paced the Vikettes with 15. Michell Gaunce added 14. The Vikettes led 19-12 at the half and hit 6-12 from the line.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 5th-seeded Canterbury Celtics (then the Celtics) defeated the 4th-seeded Campobello Island Consolidated Vikings 47-40 as Durling scored 16, K Graham 13 and Grant 10. Terri Savage led the Vikings with 15. Nancy Matthews added 10. The Vikings also included Sue Savage, Steffanie Gough, Darlene Brown, Lisa Mitchell, Cathy Johnson. The Vikings led 24-16 at the half.

       In the semis, the 6th-seeded Hartland Huskies torched the 2nd-seeded Stanley Blue Devils 81-52 as O’Halloran scored 24, Campbell 16, Lynn Carter 14, Shaw 11 and Laurie Carten 10. The Huskies led 44-28 at the half. E Gallagher led the Blue Devils with 22. C Gallagher added 12.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers torched the Canterbury Celtics 87-41 as Colweel scored 38, Kelly Lewis 16, Harmer 15, Kim Lewis 8, Bannister 6. Taylor 2 and Melvin 2. The Panthers led 53-19 at the half. Durling paced the Celtics with 14.

       The bronze medal match, the 5th-seeded Canterbury Celtics nipped the 2nd-seeded Stanley Blue Devils 50-49 as L (Kim?) Graham scored 19, T Graham 10, Durling 8, Kielty 6, Price 6, Watt 2 and Crandlemere 1. Emily Gallagher led the Blue Devils with 22. Corinne Gallagher added 19, Kim McGillvray 6 and Webb 2.

       In the final, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers rolled to their fifth consecutive crown. The Panthers led 50-16 at the half and romped 95-42 over the 6th-seeded Hartland Huskies. Wendy Colwell led the Pantherines with 31. Geldart added 16, Kelly Lewis 16, Bannister 10, Harmer 6, Elderkin 4, Taylor 4, Melvin 4, Kim Lewis 2 and Burgess 2. The Panthers led 50-16 at the half and hit 20-33 from the line.  O’Halloran led the Huskies with 19. Campbell added 8, Crouse 8, Shaw 4, Lynn Carten 2 and Laurie Carten 1. The Huskies hit 7-20 from the line.
