The 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes clubbed the 5th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 84-33 as Palmer scored 27. Angel Prosser scored 14 to lead the Stars, who also included Tina Guthrie, Carla Kennedy, Heather Wheeler, Hazel Duncan, Rocky Foster, Natalie Oakes, Nicki Giberson.
The 2nd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans defeated the 7th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins x-x. The Bruins included Lori Beaudreau, Debbie Firth, Joanne MacDonald, Louise Bernard, Gail Hamilton, Sara Murray, Kelly Hoyt.
In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans dispatched the 6th-seeded Fredericton AA Black Kats x-x. The Black Kats included Jennifer Fellows, Cara Born, Kerri Chase, Tamara McIntyre, Jennifer Hogan, Tammy Robertson, Amy Edmundston, Dyanne Brewer, Melissa Anderson, Kelly Blakney.
In the semis, the top-seeded Woodstock Wildcats clipped the 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes 73-67 as Brown scored 30, Beattie 14, Cluff 11, Wright 8, Vesey 6 and Cook 4. Palmer led the Vikettes with 30. Mantel added 12, Scott 8, Swazey 8, Hanson 6, Rossignol 2 and MacKellar 1.
In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Regional Titans defeated the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 61-53 as Davis scored 21, Trenholme 13, Kim Cole 10, Lisa Cole 9, Wall 4, Murphy 2 and Fields 2. Casey led the Spartans with 14. McGinley added 11, Godin 6, Allen 4, Babcock 4, McGibbon 3 and Robichaud 2.
In the final, the Sackville Tantramar Regional Titans defeated the Woodstock Wildcats 63-47 as Wall scored 22, Lisa Cole 14, Davis 8, Kim Cole 6, Trenholme 6, Murphy 5 and Stright 2. The Titans led 31-23 at the half. Beattie led the Wildcats with 18. Cluff added 12, MacMullin 5, Brown 4, Wright 4, Veysey 3 and Cook 1. Wildcats coach David Daye told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “we came away two years in a row with the biggest smiles. This year was our turn to be on the short end of it. … Tantramar was by far the better team today.”
