In the quarterfinals, held in Fredericton, the top-seeded Woodstock Thunder mauled the 8th-seeded St. Andrews Sir James Dunn Academy Algonquins 81-21 as Ross scored 18, Nichol 18, McBride 11, Donovan 10, Bustard 8, Gibson 4, Cox 4, McLean 4, Gartley 2 and Culberson 2. Connors led the Algonquins with 7. Brownrigg added 6, Tibbo 4, Scullion 3 and McFarlane 1, while Ross, Cahill, Smith, Barry, Logan, Scott and Bartlett were scoreless.

       The 2nd-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars clocked the 7th-seeded Hillsborough Caledonia Regional Tigers 42-15 as DeMerchant scored 10, Clowater 7, Longstaff 7, Lamoreau 6, Cain 5, Bennett 4, Lunn 2 and Simonds 1. Smith led the Tigers with 5. Jonah added 5 and Steeves 5, while Downey, Wilson, Russell, Lindsay, Layton, O’Connor and Brentnall were scoreless.

       The 3rd-seeded Stanley Regional Blue Devils clubbed the 6th-seeded McAdam Warriors 48-32 as Robbins scored 16, Thomas 12, Webster 10, Dunphy 6, Douglass 2 and Edwards 2. Joan Lindsay led the Warriors with 20. Mowatt added 5, Painter 3, Swift 2 and Roberts 2, while Tracy, Estabrooks, Wright and Astorino were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings dispatched the 5th-seeded Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 40-25 as Bliss scored 15, Joyce Pedersen 6, Joan Pedersen 6, Hollins 6, Watson 5, Thibodeau 1 and Lennon 1. Brennan paced the Boas with 6. Cleveland added 6, N Reid 4, Wilson 4, R Reid 3 and Spencer 2, while Conroy, C (S?) Hunter, Dunphy, L Hunter, Greene, Munn and Dobson were scoreless.

       In the semis, the top-seeded Woodstock Thunder defeated the 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes 27-23 as Cox scored 8, Ross 8, Culberson 4, Donovan 2, Gartley 2, McBride 2 and Gibson 1. Joyce Pedersen led the Vikettes with 10. Watson added 3, Bliss 3, Hollins 3, C Pedersen 2, Joan Pederson 1 and Thibodeau 1.

       In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Stanley Regional Blue Devils dispatched the 2nd-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars 46-40 as Robbins scored 16, Thomas 15, Dunphy 10 and Webster 5. DeMerchant led the Cougars with 15. Bennett added 14, Lamoreau 5, Clowater 4 and Cain 2.

       In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings clocked the 2nd-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars 47-26 as Joyce Pederson scored 17, Bliss 16, Watson 7, Joan Pedersen 4, Hollins 2 and Thibodeau 1. Barbara Bennett led the Cougars with 16. Debbie DeMerchant added 5 and Cain 5, while Lamoreau, Clowater, Longstaff, Lunn, Simonds and McKiel were scoreless.

In the final, the top-seeded Woodstock Wildcats repeated as champs by drubbing the 3rd-seeded Stanley Blue Devils 53-32 as Debra Cox closed out her career with 22. Ross added 8, Donovan 8, Gibson 6, Gantley 6, McLean 2 and Bell 1. Wildcats coach David Daye told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that “it doesn’t have much to do with the coaching. I’ve got girls who are willing to work hard and play as a team and that’s what it takes.” Nelda Robbins led the Blue Devils with 16. Thomas added 7, Dunphy 5, Webster 3 and Foreman 1.
