In the quarterfinals, held in Fredericton, the 5th-seeded Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras defeated 4th-seeded Black’s Harbour 27-22 as Matchett scored 13, Taylor 12, McAllister 1 and Tozer 1. Patsy Foster led Black’s Har bour with 10. Kathy Dugan added 4, Charlotte Troy 4, Regina Kingston 3 and Debbie Justason 1, while Norma Gaudet, Pam Harris, Gail Bradford, Ramona Card and Jean Constantiveau were scoreless.

       The top-seeded Petiticodiac Regional Panthers dispatched 8th-seeded Bathurst LeBlanc 40-28 as Crandall scored 11, Chambers 8, Wheaton 7, Brenda Ogilvie 5, Holt 5, Price 2 and Steeves 2. Theresa Arseneau led LeBlanc with 8. Carol Mann added 4, Debbie Oulette 4, Sheila Kane 4, Betty Thibodeau 3, Donna Doucet 3 and Bev Kennah 2, while Pauline Vienneau, Judy Kane, Brenda Boucher, Louise Nicholson and Denise Lanteigne were scoreless.

       Third-seeded Bedell Southern Carleton crushed the 6th-seeded McAdam Warriors 62-36 as Robertson scored 22, Clark 13, Wetmore 9, Hanson 9, Harrison 6, Moffat 2 and Carson 1. Pertice Tracy paced the Warriors with 13. Hannah Wilson added 7, Veniene Brennan 6, Joan Lindsay 4, heather Wilson 2, Lynn Sinclair 2 and Sherry Swift 2, while Betty lister, Janice Nason, Mary McCartney and Sharon Tracy were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars spanked the 7th-seeded Dalhousie Condors 44-20 as McGrath scored 12, White 11, Bartley 8, D Thomas 7 and DeMerchant 6. Ann Williams scored 7 for the Condors, Clare Michel 3, Debbie Pilon 2 and Linda Maltais 2, while six points were unallocated. The Condors also included Debbie Moran, Robyn Eddy, Dawn Hocquard, Ann Russell, Dale Walsh, Megan Roy and Ruby Flann.

       In the semis, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers torched 3rd-seeded Bedell Souther Carleton 56-29 as Bev Ogilvie scored 16, Crandall 12, Wheaton 8, Price 8, Holt 6, Brenda Ogilvie 5 and Chambers 1. Robertson led Bedell with 11. Wetmore added 8, Hanson 5, Clark 4 and Harrison 1.

       In the other semi, the Centreville Regional Cougars dusted the Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 47-30 as White scored 13, V McGrath 12, D Thomas 10, S DeMerchant 7, A McGrath 3 and B Bartley 2. Matchett led the Cobras with 22. Taylor added 10 and Tozer 7.

       In the bronze medal match, 3rd-seeded Bedell Southern Carleton clocked the 5th-seeded Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 49-11 as Robertson scored 20, Hanson 11, Wetmore 9, Clark 4, Carson 3, Palmer 1 and Moffatt 1. Gwen Matchett paced the Cobras with 7. Marguerite McAllister added 2, Helen Foran 1 and Marie Taylor 1, while Sharon Tozer, Debbie Blackmire, Brenda Estey, Janice Sherrard, Lorraine Pelletier and Karen Hare were scoreless.

In the final, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Pantherines defeated the 2nd-seeded Centreville Cougars 55-46 as Nancy Crandall and Betty Holt each scored 12. Bev Ogilvie added 11, Wheaton 8, Price 7, Chambers 2, Brenda Ogilvie 2 and McMackin 1. White led the Panthers with 20. D Thomas added 10, V McGrath 10, B Bartley 6 and S Thomas 2. The Panthers hit 13-31 from the line, while Cougars were 14-25.
