The Stanley Regional Blue Devils spanked the Grand Manan Breakers 40-24 as Gullison scored 14, Green 10, Webster 8, Wilson 7 and Dorcas 1. Bev Cook led the Breakers with 15. N Cook added 6 and Fleet 3, while Jones, Stanley, Parker, Doggett, Barb Cook, Brown, Inglis (Ingles?), Donnell, W Cook and Daniels were scoreless.
The Bath Regional Fighting Bees stomped the McAdam Warriors 51-19 as Beckers scored 20, Shannon 15, McGinnes 13 and Hargrove 3. Pat Chessie scored 10 to lead the Warriors (coach Peggy McAleenan). Donna Ratigan added 8, while one point was unallocated and Marg Carroll, Carol Painter, Kay Osgood, Maureen Close, Anna Nason, Janet Thomas, Pearl Thompson and Sheila Enman were scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the Florenceville Falcons edged the Port Elgin Pirates 38-34 as Dunham scored 16, Bruce 11, McIsaac 8 and McCain 2. Barb Tingley led the Pirates with 19. In the semis, the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas defeated the Stanley Regional Blue Devils 27-19 as Case scored 17, Munn 7, Hickey 2 and Scott 1. Gullison led the Blue Devils with 10. Webster added 5 and Wilson 4.
In the other semi, the Bath Regional Fighting Bees dispatched the Florenceville Falcons 41-36 as Beckers scored 29, McInnis 7 and Shannon 6. Bruce led the Falcons with 13. McIsaac added 12 and Dunham 11.
In the bronze medal match, the Florenceville Falcons defeated the Stanley Regional Blue Devils 24-20 as McIsaac scored 11, Bruce 8 and Dunham 5. Ellen Gullison led the Blue Devils with 8. Katherine Wilson added 6, Judy Webster 3 and Dianne Green 3, while Gwen Dorcas, Margaret McGowan, Ruth McFarlane, Barbara Tomilson, Sandra Clarkson, Hurley and Carolyn Wilson were scoreless.
In the final, Bath rallied from deficit to defeat the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 28-25 as Shannon scored 17, McInnis 6 and Beckers 5. Case led the Boas with 17. D Munn added 6.
