In the quarterfinals, the 6th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans torched the 3rd-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 90-68 as Aker scored 23, Murphy 18, Robinson 16, Babcock 13, Wheaton 8, Nutbrown 6 and Searles 1. Ryan Beswarick led the Bruins with 18. Mark Campbell added 15, Chuck Levingstone 10, Colin Smith 9, Marc Pitre 6 and Chris Smith 3.

       The 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder clocked the 7th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 73-47 as Kearney scored 15, Wetmore 13 and Lawrence 12. Luke Cooke led the Mariners with 13. The Mariners also included Adam Merrill.

       The top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars crushed the 8th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 12-8-84 as Greenlaw scored 26, Hunter 25, Broad 18, Peterson 16, Stephens 14, Shaw 9, Thomas 8, Saulis 6, Kinney 4 and Gallagher 2. Carl Tinley led the Titans with 25. Paul Fury added 19, Shawn M Cole 18, Maurice Aube15, Shaun F Cole 4 and Nathan Ayer 3.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats clipped the 5th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings 61-51 as Quinn scored 13, Munro 10, Gomez 10, Rigaux 8, Barry 7, Perry 6, Coates 5 and Hinds 2. Tony Brain led the Vikings with 21. Chad DeWitt added 18, Chris Stone 8, Ryan Post 5 and Ryan Cote 2.

       In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder dispatched the 6th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 70-54 as Kearney scored 32, Barrett 17, Young 8, McAskill 7 and Wetmore 7. Robinson led the Spartans with 13. Aker added 10, Wheaton 7, Babcock 6 and Nutbrown 5, while 13 points were unallocated.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars whipped the 4th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kates 104-75 as Peterson scored 23, Greenlaw 20, Hunter 19, Thomas 16, Saulis 12, Shaw 10, Stephens 2 and Broad 2. Quinn led the Black Kats with 21. Munro added 14, Coates 10, Gomez 10, Rigaux 9, McAdam 8, Billingsley 2 and Barry 1.

In the final, the Bristol Carleton North Stars spanked the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder 99-81 as Greenlaw scored 26, while nabbing 12 boards, Peterson 21, Broad 17, along with 10 boards, Stephens 7, Thomas 7, Shaw 6, Hunter 6, Saulis 5 and Kinney 4. The score was knotted at 50 with 15 minutes to play, when the Stars exploded to a 90-70 lead. Stars coach Iain Dunlop told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that his troops were determined to avenge a loss to the Thunder in the 92 final. “We had a bad taste in our mouth since last year. … Our game is giddy-up go. We’ve got a ball club that knows where the biscuit goes. … Everybody contributed. When you get that kind of total team commitment and effort, then you’re going to come out a champion.” Greenlaw said “I didn’t want to lose it. I’ve been losing with a lot of those guys for a long time and I didn’t want to let them down. They weren’t going to let me down and I wanted to do it for the boys. I owed them.” MacAskill led the Thunder with 20. Kearney added 20, Wetmore 16, Barrett 15, Lawrence 5, Taylor 2, Young 2 and Vail 1.
