In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars spanked the 8th-seeded St. Stephen Spartnas 98-62 as Cook scored 23, Peterson 19, Saulis 16, Greenlaw 12, Thomas 10, Hunter 6, Clarke 5, Briggs 3, Shaw 2 and DeMerchant 2. J Murphy led the Spartans with 17. C Amos added 12, B Sharpe 9, T Aker 8, B Parker 6, T Nutbrown 2, M Wees 2, B Robinson 2 and J Wheaton 2.

       The 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings edged the 5th-seeded Dalhousie Regional Condors 67-66 in overtime as Shaw scored 26, Dewitt 17, Brain 17, Fournier 5 and Pelkey 2. Adam Letourneau paced the Condors with 30. Keith Grosse added 21, Sean Morrison 6, Mike Hayden 5 and Sean Frenette 4.

       The 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder clipped the 7th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats 72-56 as Peachey scored 17, Depow 17, Wright 17, Patterson 13, Clark 6 and Barrett 1. Lucas Holt led the Black Kats with 18. Andy Dickinson added 14, Ryan Quinn 8, Todd Clowater 4, David Kowan 3, Brian Stocker 3, Bill Saunders 2, Mike LeBlanc 2 and Jeremy Ellison 2.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans edged the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 67-66 as Fleming scored 24, Norden 14, Aube 10, Garrow 8, Arsenault 6, Fillmore 3 and Allen 2. Mike Duguay led the Bruins with 15. Ben LeBlanc added 12, Ryan Beswarek 11, Chris Smith 8, Marc Pitre 7, Mike Campbell 2, Jon Hubert 2 and Chuck Livingstone 2.

       In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder crushed the 3rd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 65-47 as Peachey socred 24, Patterson 12, Wright 9, Clark 7, Barrett 5, MacInnis 4 and Depow 4. Fleming led the Titans with 15. Norden added 10, Arsenault 9, Garrow 7, Allen 4 and Fillmore 2.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars dusted the 4th-seeded Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings 81-62 as Cook scored 25, Peterson 16, Thomas 10, Hunter 8, Greenlaw 6, Saulis 6, Briggs 4, Lawrence 2, Clarke 2 and DeMerchant 2. Shaw led the Vikings with 35. Dewitt added 7, Brain 7, Fournier 6, Post 4 and Stone 3.

In the final, the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder defeated the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 80-78 as player of the game Patterson scored 18, Kearny 17, Depow 15, Peachey 13, Wright 11, MacInnis 4 and Barrett 2. The Thunder led 77-70 when Stars rookie Shaw came off the bench and nailed a trey. Stars guard Peterson added a runout with 45 seconds to play. Thunder coach Cassidy told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “I looked at Dana Patterson and said ‘it’s your game’. What else could I say? ‘You’ve got to take charge now.’ And he did.” Patterson fed Peachey for a layup and then hit the two winning free throws. Cook nailed a trey at the buzzer to draw the Stars within two. Patterson said “you can’t think negative. You’ve got to think positive the whole time. But we just wanted to control the tempo the whole game. We wanted to slow the game down a bit and try to take some time off the clock.” Patterson told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that “this is our county rival. So it makes feel even better.” The score was knotted at four when the Thunder ripped off a 12-2 run. They led 42-34 at the half. Thunder coach David Cassidy said “provincials is great to win but it’s Carleton County pride. We like that. … The difference was they ended up playing our game and that’s an upbeat game.” Cook led the Stars with 27. Peterson added 21, Greenlaw 11, Thomas 10, Saulis 5, Shaw 3 and Hunter 1. Stras coach Iain Dunlop told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that Woodstock has kids who “all play with great composure. It was little too emotional for us. We dind’t play with the type of composure or control that we really need to win a tough ball game. … It was a very physical game and I thought the officials let the players play hard. I think Woodstock adjusted to that a little sooner than we did.”
