In the quarterfinals, held in Centreville, the host Cougars crushed Moncton United Baptist Bible Training School (now Crandall University) 40-27 as Adair scored 14, Green 9, Mclean 9, Scott 4 and Peterson 4. Mollins led United Baptist with 8. Webb added 7, Smith 6 and Hurley 6, while Keith, Berry, Milton, Green Forsythe and Hicks were scoreless.

       The Back Bay Bruins nipped the Dalhousie Condors 40-39 as Matheson scored 15, Polland 9, Oliver 8, R Mitchell 6 and G Hooper 2. D Roy (Ray?) led the Condors with 22, McEwan added 8, Spence 5, B Roy (Ray?) 2 and Sterling 2, while Hickey, Champion, Reinsborough, Clifford and Morin were scoreless.

       The Milltown Orphans spanked the Stanley Regional Blue Devils 51-37 as Cotter scored 18, Greenough 17, McIntosh 10 and Maxwell 6. Proulx scored 13 to lead the Blue Devils (coach Rankine Smith, manager Ron Sparks). Robert Bartlett added 9, William Hurley 8, Alan Foreman 5 and William Fullerton 2, while John Gullison, Humble, Harold Waugh, Earl Brewer, Arthur Hurley, James Waugh and Edmund Frauley were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks clocked the Bath Regional Fighting Bees 57-36 as Dickson scored 24, Peters 10, J Darling 10, S Darling 7, Brewster 4 and MacIlveen 2. Charlie Doherty led the Fighting Bees with 10. Wry added 10, Garth Dingee 9 and John MacFarlane 7, while Wright, P Nugent, R Nugent, J Corcoran, Caldwell and Hargrove were scoreless.

       In the semis, the Centreville Regional Cougars edged the Back Bay Bruins 43-41 in overtime as McLean scored 16, Peterson 12, Scott 6, Green 5 and Adair 4. Matheson led the Bruins with 16. Polland added 11, Oliver 6, G Hooper 4 and Mitchell 4.

       In the other semi, the Milltown Orphans edged the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 39-37 as Cotter scored 14, MacIntosh 10, Maxwell 8 and Greenough 7. Peters led the Red Hawks with 11. Dickson added 9, J Darling 8, Brewster 4, B Darling 3 and MacIlveen 2.

       In the bronze medal match, the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks edged the Back Bay Bruins 43-40 as Dickson scored 24, Peters 6, J Darling 6, McIlveen 4 and B Darling 3. Oliver led the Bruins with 17. P Hooper added 9, G Hooper 8, Mitchell 5 and Wayne Matheson 1, while Polland, R Mitchell, Kierstead, Leavitt, Leslie, M Matheson and Cooke were scoreless.

       In the final, the Centreville Cougars defeated the Milltown Orphans 51-44 as Dwain MacLean scored 20, Green 10, Scott 9, Adair 8 and Peterson 4. The Cougars led 25-18 at the half. Greenough led Milltown with 21. Cotter added 11, Maxwell 10 and McIntosh 2.
