In the quarterfinals, held in St. Stephen, the Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers dusted the Back Bay Bruins 45-13 as Weshart scored 13, Ridgewell 12, Graye 7, Ashworth 6, Shields 3, Dohaney 2 and Bucci 2. F Dick paced the Bruins with 6. Matthews added 4, P Hooper 1, D Dick 1 and Wentworth 1, while R Hooper, H Hooper and Leavitt were scoreless.

       Newcastle Harkins spanked the Hartland Huskies 46-25 as Anderson scored 18, G Burns 9, Ramsey 6, Bell 5, R Burns 4 and Galley 4. Newcastle led 9-3, 20-11 and 39-19 at the quarters. H Gillen scored 9 to pace the Huskies 9coach J Glass). D Nicholson added 7, J Clarke 5 and R Montgomery 5, while H Plummer, C Campbell, M Pratt and Smith were scoreless.

       The St. Stephen Spartans clocked the Woodstock Thunder 46-25 as Purcell scored 22. The Spartans led 16-15 at the half. The Thunder (coach Bud Stewart) included Bob Porter, Wallace Jones, Chuck Ashe, Mark Connell (McConnell?), Ralph Robinson, Norman Bell, John Dickinson, B Connell, Potter, Wilson, Richard Leach and Lawrence Wilson.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Sussex Sonics edged the Bathurst Phantoms 42-41 as Jimmy McQueen hit the winner in the final minute. The Sonics led 18-17 at the half. The Phantoms included Hodgins, Jennings, White, Faulds, Morrison, Hathaway, Bevins, Johnston, Schriver and Murray.

       In the semis, the St. Stephen Spartans torched the Sussex Sonics 44-25 as Purcell scored 23, Casey 9, Stairs 5, Clark 3 and Little 3. McAlary led the Sonics with 13. Pepperdene added 8, J McQueen 3 and D McQueen 1.

       In the other semi, Newcastle Harkins dispatched the Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers x-x.

In the final, Newcastle Harkins defeated the St. Stephen Spartans 44-31 as G Burns scored 23, Anderson 15, R Burns 3, Donan 2 and Bell 1. Purcell led the Spartans with 15. Clark added 5, Little 5, Casey 3 and Stairs 3.
