In the quarterfinals, held in Fredericton, the Fredericton Black Kats dispatched the Campbellton Tigers 18-13 as Patterson scored 6, Sturgeon 6, Macdonald 4 and Stairs 2. Mann paced the Tigers with 5. MacDonald added 3, Mowatt 2, Andrew 2 and Mahoney 1, while Hayward, Dewar, Cooper and Stewart were scoreless.

       The Saint John Greyhounds clipped Chatham St. Thomas Academy 32-16 as Gibb scored 10, Kerr 9, Wilson 9, Smith 2 and McGowan 2. Jerry Jardine paced St. Thomas with 10. Thompson added 2, Edgar O’Brien 2 and George O’Connell 2, while Joe George, Spagni, Macgillivary, Edwin Foster, McCluskey and Hogan were scoreless.

       The Woodstock Carleton County Vocational Purple Raiders edged the Rothesay Red Hawks 29-26 as Kitchen scored 10, Brewer 8, Troy 6, Wakem 3, Montgomery 2 and Gillen 1. Michael Coster led the Red Hawks with 14. William Thompson added 5, Richard Noble 4, Joseph Hickman 2 and Irving 1, while Weld, McLeod, Puddington, Thomas, Eddy, P Gifford and M Gifford were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, Sackville Mount Allison Academy dispatched the Saint John Vocational Vultures 34-27 as Parker scored 15, Baxter 8, Haviland 5, Causo 5 and Abell 1. Arthur Melvin led Vocational with 8. Harrison added 8, Leggett 6 and Dobbelsteyn 5, while Coles, Ganong, Howe, Talbert, Stinson, Main, LeBlanc and Connolly were scoreless.

       In the semis, the Fredericton Black Kats nipped the Saint John Greyhounds 27-25 as Stairs scored 11, Sturgeon 8, MacKenzie 5 and MacDonald 3. Gibb led the Greyhounds with 12. Kerr added 7, MacDonald 3, Smith 2 and Martin 1.

       In the other semi, the Woodstock Carleton County Vocational Purple Raiders dispatched Sackville Mount Allison Academy 259 as Brewer scored 9, Gillen 5, Troy 4, Kitchen 3, Montgomery 2 and Wakem 2. Baxter led Mount Allison with 7. Parker added 6, Havilland 4 and Moores 2.

In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats edged the upstart, B division champ Woodstock Carleton County Vocational Purple Raiders 32-30 after rallying from a 29-27 deficit with two minutes to play. Sturgeon led the Black Kats with 12. Stairs added 8, McKenzie 6, Gillies 4 and MacDonald 2. Brewer led the Purple Raiders with 10. Troy added 8, Montgomery 7 and Gillen 5. The Purple Raiders led 17-12 at the half.
