In the quarterfinals, the St. Stephen Spartans edged the Woodstock Thunder 19-16 as Quartermain scored 6, Eastman 5, Kirk 4 and Irvine 4. Slipp paced the Thunder (coach Bob Brown) with 9. Winslow added 4, McLean 2 and McGuire 1, while R Smith, Downey, Tomlyn, Morehouse, B Smith, Breneol, Lenehan, Kaye and McCan were scoreless.

The Rothesay Red Hawks blasted the Centreville Cougars 42-3 as Alcorn scored 18, Smith 8, Hannington 7, Harrington 3, Tremayne 2, Wright 2, Flemmington 1 and Miller 1. Watson notched all 3 for the Cougars, who also included London, Cliff, Crawford, G Bassett, H Bassett, Perry, Clowater, Thomas and F Bassett.

The Saint John Greyhounds clipped Newcastle Harkins 19-11 as Murchison scored 13, Magnusson 2, Bewick 2 and Ketchum 2. D Dalton led Newcastle with 5. Whaley added 2, Ken Daley 2, Staples 1 and Murphy 1, while H Ryan, McCollum, M Ryan and R Dalton were scoreless.

In the last quarterfinal, the Moncton Purple Knights edged the Fredericton Black Kats 31-29 in overtime as McKee scored 9, Gaudet 9, Davidson 8, Algie 3 and Brewster 2. McKee forced overtime with a bucket to knot the score at 29. Gaudet notched the winner in the extra session. The Black Kats led 13-10 at the half and 25-18 after three quarters. Boreland led the Black Kats with 13. Grant added 8 and C Foster 8, while Gibson, Peterson, Bell, Kierstead, Miller, D Foster and Mooe were scoreless.

In the semis, the Saint John Collegiate Greyhounds nipped the Moncton Purple Knights 16-15 as Robinson scored 6, Magnusson 6, Bewick 2, Ketchum 2 and Morgan 1. Gaudet led the Purple Knights with 8. Brewster added 5, Lounders 2 and Algie 2.

In the other semi, the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks spanked the St. Stephen Spartans 32-11 as A Smith scored 14, Alcorn 13, Hannington 4 and Tremayne 1. Kirk led the Spartans with 5. Irvine added 3, Quartermain 2 and McGeachy 1.

In the final, the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks defeated the Saint John Greyhounds 26-15 after leading 10-4, 18-6 and 24-13 at the quarters. Smith paced the Red Hawks with 12. Alcorn added 8, Hannington 4 and Tremayne 2.  Magnusson led the Greyhounds with 6. Murchison added 5, Bewick 2 and Howard 2.
