The Lancers capped a leap from 1A to 3A ball by capturing their seventh consecutive provincial title. “It feels good because it wasn’t a gimme,” Terra Gerwing told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “We had to work until the end of every game, so this is very satisfying. A good start, going up 18-3, put us in this position. They came out flat and we jumped on them.” Nadine Puetz led the Lancers with 17.
