Wilhelm told the Regina Leader-post that “I was aiming but it was kind of in desperation. I just had to shoot straight. I don’t really remember anything after it went in. I remember all my teammates running at me. … Everyone was saying: ‘I love you’. My knees were shaking after the game. The adrenalin is still flowing.” Toilers guard Andrea Gottselig said “I’m trying to calm myself down. As soon as we lost, I knelt down and tears just flowed.
