In the final, the top-seeded Saskatoon Christian Centre Eagles defeated the 2nd-seeded Regina Harvest City Reapers 67-54 to capture their fifth title in six years. “We wanted to stay intense the entire game, we knew they weren’t a pushover,” Jeff Espeleta, who scored 28, told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. Kevin Blackett led the Reapers with 27. “I’m really impressed with how hard Regina played,” said CCA coach Gregg Galan. “They made us work just as hard and our guys handled that pressure.” Added Espeleta: “Everybody played their roles and everybody knew their roles.” Corey Butcher added 11 for the Eagles, Jonathan Carreiro 9, Sterling Summach 8, Simon Hutchinson 7 and Jamie Macmillan 4. Kevin Blackett paced the Reapers with 27. Timothy Harrison added 11, Jarred Greff 5, Ian Isted 5, Jeremy Isted 4 and Matthew Palmer 2.
