        In the last quarterfinal, the Regina Harvest City Reapers spanked the Craik Cougars 76-52.

        In the semis, the Saskatoon Christian Centre Academy Cougars whipped the Regina Harvest City Reapers 83-51 as Nathan Schultz scored 16, Derek Melnychuk 11, Scott Rysavy 11, Michael Lambert 10, Jonathan Miller 10, Jeff Benjamin 10, Garrett Johnson 8, David Mervold 4 and Paul Sly 3. Schultz told the Regina Leader-Post that “we’ve heard people think last year was just a fluke. We’re to prove to everybody it wasn’t a fluke. It was meant to be.” Ryley Dolter paced the Reapers with 21. Matthew Tremaine added 11, Matthew Dalton 7, Nathan Tarr 6, Duane Melby 3 and Cory Christoffel 3. Reapers coach Rod Donison told the Regina Leader-Post “the difference was they hit everything and our guys were cold, especially the guys we can always count on. The shots weren’t dropping.”

        In the other semi, the Hepburn Hawks clipped the Asquith Athletics 70-63 as Chris Nikkel scored 21, Ryan Schellenberg 19, Tim Wohlgemut 16, David Berg 6, Trevor Hein 4, Dean Willms 2 and Brian Cool 2. Eric Eide paced the Athletics with 17. Kelly Kruppi added 17, Paul McTavish 12, Michael Kucherhan 10 and Mark McTavish 7.

        In the bronze medal match, the Asquith Athletics swamped the Regina Harvest City Reapers 93-68 as Eric Eide scored 31, Paul McTavish 21, Kelly Kruppi 18, Michael Kucheran 9, Chris Klassen 7, Hunter Dufort 5 and Mark McTavish 2. Ryley Dolter led the Reapers with 28. Matthew Tremain added 18, Duane Melby 6, Cory Christoffel 5, Matthew Dalton 5, Nathan Tarr 4 and Shawn Dalton 2.

In the final, the Saskatoon Christian Centre Academy Cougars thrashed the Hepburn Hawks 80-62 as Derek Melnychuk scored 22, Scott Ryvasy 20, Jonathan Miller 12, Jeff Benjamin 8, Nathan Schultz 6, Michael Lambert 5, Paul Sly 3, Joel Webster 2 and Garrett Johnson 2. Chris Nikkel paced the Hawks with 19. Ryan Schellenberg added 17, Tom Wohlgemut 9, Dean Willms 6, David Berg 5, Brian Cool 4 and Trevor Hein 2. The Hawks ripped off an 11-0 run to take an early 18-8 lead but the Cougars clawed to within 40-37 at the half. Cougars coach Gregg Galan told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix that “I wsa just yelling for timeouts. I thought that cost us four points in the first half, when I was trying to get a timeout and the refs couldn’t hear. In the second half, I made sure I got out on the floor, so he could see me.” Hawks coach Leanne Thiessen said “they played the hardest that I’ve ever seen them play. They are very disappointed. They want that (gold) so bad. We just ran out of gas in the last couple minutes. We full-court pressed for about 30 minutes out of 40.” Ryvsay said “I didn’t doubt that we would win, ever. We have confidence. We have the Lord on our side. We had put a lot of effort into it and those who invest the most are the last to surrender.”
