In the 7th-place playoff, Manitoba throttled Nova Scotia 118-76. Manitoba (coached by Dale Bradshaw, assistant Dave Guss) included Todd MacCulloch, Murray Davidson, Dennis Skrabek, Rob Penner, Clarence Vigilance, Jeff Nelson, Colin Jones, Darren Slobodian, Clive Ragura, Lenin Mangaron and John Bagnas.

        In the 5th-place playoff, Newfoundland & Labrador edged New Brunswick 77-70. Newfoundland & Labrador (coach Gary Sooley, assistant Nash Miller, manager Ed Beckett) included Darryl Nurse, Lorne Kielly, Peter Benoite, Robbie Stone, Brian Cook, Chris Gill, John Coaker, Michael Sooley, Steve Beckett, Giles Littlejohn and Shannon Miller.

In the bronze medal match, Alberta defeated Quebec 79-71.

        In the final, British Columbia thumped Ontario 85-71.
