        In pool B play: …………………………………………………… British Columbia nipped Manitoba 67-63. Kyle Guss led Manitoba 67-63. “These guys are really keyed,” said Manitoba Joe DiCurzio. Forward Bob Heighten had dunked a layup by guard York Park in the final minute as Manitoba sought to rally. But it was disallowed as a goaltend and BC held on for the win. ……………………………………………………

        In the semis, Ontario clipped Manitoba 80-67. “You’ve got to play aggressively,” said Manitoba’s Norm Froemel. “If you want the ball you have to go for it.”

        In the other semi, British Columbia dusted Alberta 68-53.

        In the bronze medal match, Manitoba clubbed Alberta 88-70.

In the final, Andy Wilmott scored 16 to lead British Columbia past Ontario 57-54.
