        The North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders dumped the Meadow Lake Carpenter Spartans 65-50.

        The Humboldt Mohawks defeated the Biggar Blazers 68-57.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Caronport Cougars defeated the North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders x-x.

        In the semis, the Caronport Cougars blasted the Humboldt Mohawks 84-46 as Gene Wolverton scored 22, Steve Frentz 15, Nathan Sales 9, Jerry Wolverton 8, Geoff Glaspell 8, Dave Guenther 5, Eric Albright 4, Dean Dueck 3, Terry Froese 2, Branton Mundt 2, Mark Josefson 2 and Ben Prognell 2. Warren Suek led the Mohawks with 10. David Willis added 8, Martin Bergerman 6, Jon Nevecosky 5, David Ford 4, Brett Suchan 3, Nathaniel Jungworth 3, Brian Ruthven 2 and Daniel Bandurka 2.

        In the other semi, the North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders edged the Weyburn Composite Eagles 68-63 as Kevin Welter scored 17, Lance Dunn 16, Alex Kolosnjai 9, Jason Foulds 9, Ryan Pauls 7, Tom Collins 6 and Tyler Iwaschuk 4. Chris Douglas paced the Eagles with 23. Scott Lautner added 16, Carl Weger 15, Mike Wormsbecker 7, Dave Roman 1 and D.J. Gall 1.

        In the bronze medal match, the Humboldt Mohawks defeated the Weyburn Composite Eagles 62-52 as Warren Suek scored 19, Martin Bergerman 16, David Willis 10, Nathaniel Jungwirth 5, Jamie Benson 4, Colin Armstrong 4, Brian Ruthven 2 and Jon Nevecosky 2. Scott Lautner led Weyburn with 26. Chris Douglas added 10, D.J. Gall 5, Jeremy Greening 4, Carl Weger 2, Devin Moldenhauer 2, Chad Olson 2 and Mike Wormsbecker 1.

        In the final, the Caronport Cougars stomped the North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders 80-55. Caronport led by three at the half and pulled away in the second half. Gene Wolverton paced the Cougars with 21. Steve Frentz added 13, Dean Dueck 11, Ben Prognell 11, Mark Josefson 10, Nathan Sales 7, Eric Albright 5 and Geoff Glaspell 2. Jason Foulds scored 12 for the Crusaders, using his quickness to sneak into the key behind the Caronport defence. But the Crusaders had to make up ground quickly so they resorted to tossing treys, most often errant and the Cougars were able to run out the clock.  Kevin Welter led the Crusaders with 16. Lance Dunn added 9, Alex Kolosnjai 8, Tyler Iwanschuk 7 and Tom Collins 3. The Cougars were coached by 7-0 Gib Hinz, who played at Wisconsin-Eau Claire and was drafted by the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, but never played in the big league. He toiled seven years with Athletes in Action and then briefly played pro ball in Australia.
