In the final, the Lacombe Composite Ramettes defeated the Lethbridge Sir Winston Churchill Griffins 43-35 after leading 23-22 at the half. Chris Graves paced the Ramettes with 17. Beth Rainforth added 16. Ramettes coach Lois Farrington told the Red Deer Advocate that “the only tough game was the final but it wasn’t any tougher than the regular CWASSA (Central Western Alberta Schools Athletic Association) league play.”
