In the quarterfinals, held in Eckville,, the Nobleford Noble Central Blades tripped the Wanham Wildcats 55-37 as Duane Erickson scored 23, Kirk Hofman 10 and Ned Jaukanis 10. Brian Metz paced the Wildcats with 18. The Wildcats also included Doug Sather.

The Myrnam Barons dispatched the Ryley Rebels 51-36 as Robert Zalasky scored 18 and Bill Yaremchuk 11. Ron Teske paced the Rebels with 12. Darwin Lauber added 12. The Rebels also included Lyle Voegelin.

Caroline edged Westlock 36-34 as Bill Penne scored 10, Lorne Hansen 10 and Ed Smyth 8. Morley Swaren paced Westlock with 13. Kevin Murphy added 8. The score was knotted at six after one quarter. Caroline led 18-14 at the half and 26-22 after three quarters.

In the last quarterfinal, the Grassy Lake Chamberlain Panthers dusted the Delia Bulldogs 61-38 as Rick Sincennes scored 18 and Dale Chervinski 13. Kervin Rauqust led the Bulldogs with 20. Dave Koumeny added 13.

In the semis, the Nobleford Noble Central Blades blasted Caroline 84-13 as Fred Hann scored 25 and Willie Groten 18.

In the other semi, the Myrnam Barons nipped the Grassy Lake Chamberlain Panthers 52-50 as Bill Yaremchuk scored 33. Fred Gross led the Panthers with 19.

In the bronze medal match, the Grassy Lake Chamberlain Panthers scorched Caroline 83-26 as Richard Braun scored 20 and Don Penner 15. Ed Smith led Caroline with 10.

In the final, the Nobleford Noble Central Blades defeated the Myrnam Barons 38-32 as Peter Luchia scored 14. Bill Yaremchuk led the Barons with 24.
