In the semis, the Kathryn-Beiseker Vikings dumped the Grassy Lake Chamberlain Panthers 75-67 as Bob Matheny scored 21 and Henry Sherman 18. Gerald Clemis and Reg Kraemer each scored 13 to pace the Panthers.

In the other semi, the New Myrnam Barons defeated the Wanham Wildcats x-x.In the other semi, the New Myrnam Barons (Grande Prairie Herald Tribune reports this as Marwayne) defeated the Wanham Wildcats 55-53.

In the bronze medal match, the Grassy Lake Chamberlain Panthers topped the Wanham Wildcats (then the Traders) 63-53 as Derald Nadeau scored 13, Gerald Clemis 11 and Blaine Gross 10. The Wildcats (coached by Keith McMillan) included John Kasprow, Greg Lebeuf, Ernie Murray, Keith McMillan.

In the final, Kathryn-Beiseker defeated the Myrnam Barons 51-47 despite trailing by 11 at the half. Kathryn-Beiseker finished (12-4) on the season.
