In the quarterfinals, held in Provost, the Stirling Lakers thrashed the Ashmont Falcons 55-33. The Falcons included Raw, Murray, Boorse, Erasmus, Sherard, Cheshire.

        The Bowden Broncos edged the Hay Lakes Tigers 55-51 as Mills scored 20, Lansing 13, Fergstad 11, Paynter 8 and Park 3. Ron These led the Tigers with 25. Lorne Paul added 16, Randy Roper 4, Gerry Tober 2 and Neil Berkholtz 2. The Tigers (coached by Alex Salahub) also included Dale Reinke, Brian Paul, Brian Drake, Rick Johnson and Ken Pasula.
