In the quarterfinals, the 8th-seeded Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats edged the 9th-seeded Elmsdale Westisle-A Wolverines 55-48. Leslie MacNeill with 13 points and Aimee Cameron with 12 paced the Bobcats while Katryna Gaudet had 17 for the Wolverines. The Wolverines also included Ellen Barwise, Julia Jones.

        In the other quarterfinal, the 7th-seeded Summerside Three Oak Axettes dumped the 10th-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-A Colonels 80-39 as Heather Searle scored 18. Erin Callaghan led Colonel Gray with 8.

        In the semis, the 6th-seeded Montague Vikings defeated the 7th-seeded Summerside Three Oaks-AA Axettes 61-38 as Femke Hakkers scored 18, Andrea Visser 13 and Ashley Dawson 10. Kate MacWilliams led Three Oaks with 12. Nicolle Kelly added 7. Montague led 25-19 at the half.

        In the other semi, the 8th-seeded Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats defeated the 5th-seeded Elmsdale Westisle-AA Wolverines 74-68 in overtime as Krystal Ward scored 23 and Alana Gass 17. Sara Lee Pitre led Elmsdale Westisle with 18. Miranda Ellis added 11. Elmsdale Westisle led 36-32 at the half.

        In the bronze medal match, the 7th-seeded Summerside Three Oaks-AA Axettes defeated the 5th-seeded Elmsdale Westisle-AA Wolverines 51-39 as Kate MacWilliams scored 13. Katie Ford led Elmsdale Westisle with 11.

        In the final, the 8th-seeded Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats nipped the 6th-seeded Montague Vikings 40-39 as Krystal Ward hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds to play. The Bobcats had lost 14 of their 15 regular season games but came on in the playoffs, said coaches Trudy MacLeod and Kimball Blanchard. “Our girls really came together over the last week,” MacLeod told the Charlottetown Guardian. “It took some time for our younger players to adjust to the high school game but we certainly put it all together at the right time.” Blanchard called them a “super bunch of kinds. Winning the championship is really a big step forward for our younger players. Hopefully, winning will give us some confidence heading into next year.” Ward led the Bobcats with 16. Alana Gass added 9. Andrea Visser led Montague with 12. Femke Hakkers added 7.
