In the quarterfinals, 4th-seeded Souris edged 5th-seeded Three Oaks-2 26-21 after leading 10-8 at the half. Julia MacAulay paced Souris with 16. Meghan Stewart added 6 and Jayne Robertson 4. Bethany DesRoches led Three Oaks-2 with 6. The Axewomen also included Rebecca Parnham, Millee MacKay, Erin MacKinnon, Taron Price, Jenna Gillis, Keisha Poirier, Samm Harris.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Westisle Wolverines pounded the 4th-seeded Souris Spartans 79-40 after leading 25-2, 37-21 and 58-34 at the quarters. Maggee Fraser led Westisle with 21. Lexi Getson added 19, Nonie Lyon 14, Vanessa Rennie 12 and Breeanne Lewis 9, along with 22 boards. Jayne Robertson paced Souris with 16 points, 12 boards and 7 blocks. Julia MacAulay added 10 and Meghan Stewart 10.

        In the other semi, 2nd-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-2 edged the 3rd-seeded Montague Vikings 49-47 in overtime. Shanley Saunders forced overtime by hitting a bucket for Montague with 38 seconds to play. In the extra session, Alana VanWeichen gave the Vikings a one-point lead with 3:10 to play. They led until 13.6 seconds remained, when Adrienne Wright gave the Colonels the lead with a pair of free throws. Emily Winters added another free throw with 6.6 seconds on the clock. The Colonels led 25-19 at the half. Danielle Younker paced the Colonels with 13. Adrienne Wright added 9, Sarah Victor 9 and Julie Stark 8. Shanley Saunders led Montague with 16. Alanna VanWeichen added 12, along with 9 boards, and Zoie Farrish 8.

        In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Souris Spartans defeated the 3rd-seeded Montague Vikings 42-36 after leading 29-23 at the half. The Spartans dominated the boards. Julia MacAulay led the Vikings with 18. Jayne Robertson added 13, along with 15 boards, and Mary Woods 7. Shanley Saunders paced the Spartans with 10. Alana VanWeichen added 8 and Michaela Laporte 7. The Vikings (coached by Dale Farish and Andy Daggett) also included Zoie Farrish, Taylor Carroll, Christina Rose, Sarah Furness, Carley MacLean, Emma Prosper, Kelly Drake and Shayla Martin.

        In the final, the 2nd-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-2 Colonels edged the top-seeded Westisle Wolverines 63-59 after leading 16-15 after one quarter and 40-29 at the half. Breanne Lewis rallied the Wolverines in the second half, knotting the score with four minutes to play. Julia Stark and Danielle Younker restored the lead for the Colonels, but the Wolverines’ Lexi Getson hit a three-pointer with 1:10 left. Then with the pressure on, Adrienne Wright went 2-for-2 from the foul line for Gray with 1:05 showing on the clock. Colonel Gray’s Emily Winters stole the ball and scored with 58 seconds remaining, but Lewis responded for Westisle with 23 seconds remaining to make the score 62-59 Colonels. Stark hit a foul shot with 15 seconds left to close out the scoring. Julia Stark paced the Colonels with 28. Adrienne Wright added 12 and Danielle Younker 9, along with 13 boards. Breanne Lewis paced Westisle with 21 points, 11 boards and 6 blocks. Maggie Fraser added 13 and Lexi Getson 12.
