In the quarterfinals, the Charlottetown Rural Raiders defeated the Montague Vikings 71-20 as Carly MacKinnon scored 14. Miranda Crane led Montague with 10. Charlottetown Rural led 36-8 at the half. The Vikings also included Vicki McLeod, Amy Beck.

        In the other quarterfinal, the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines defeated the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 53-49 in overtime as Kendra Lee Jones scored 15, Sharisse Smallman 12 and Tiffany Costain 13. Esther Hamming and Jill Youland each scored 11 for the Bobcats. Neally Curry and Melissa Gillespie each added 7. Elmsdale Westisle led 33-17 at the half. The Bobcats also included Meagan Jones.

        In the semis, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines 60-24. Elizabeth McPhail scored 14 and nabbed 6 boards for Colonel Gray. Kyla McGuigan added 10 and Mary Catherine Connolly 7. Tiffany Costain paced Elmsdale Westisle with 9. Bobbi Jo Shea added 6 and Sharisse Smallman 5, along with 8 boards. Alisha Arsenault nabbed 8 boards. Colonel Gray led 24-14 at the half. Colonel Gray capitalized on an 18-2 run the third quarter and forced 34 turnovers in registering the easy win.

        In the other semi, Charlottetown Rural defeated Summerside Three Oaks 56-55 as Amanda Hood scored 15 and nabbed 11 boards. Megan Wilson scored 11, Jennifer Russell 10 and Vanessa Foster 9. Victoria Walker led Three Oaks with 13. Gale Edison added 11 and Kyla Dewar 10. Rural led 25-24 at the half. Three Oaks missed a chance to win it in the final second when they missed a pair of free throws. The Axettes had gotten back in the game as Gale Edison hit a pair of treys in the final minute. Amanda Hood hit the game winning free throws with 14 seconds on the clock.

        In the bronze medal match, the Summerside Three Oak Axettes defeated the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines 60-33 as Victoria Walker scored 22 and nabbed 10 boards. The Axewomen led 11-10, 24-18 and 45-27 after the quarters before blowing it open with a 16-0 run to open the final frame. Kyla Dewar added 15 and Emily Key 6, along with 11 boards. Kendra Lee Jones led Elmsdale Westisle with 10 points and 7 boards. Sherise Smallman scored 8, Tiffany Costain 7 and Bobbi Jo Shea 7. The Wolverines also included Mavis Poirier.

        In the final, Colonel Gray defeated Rural 45-38 as Elizabeth McPhail scored 15 and MC Connolly 9. Amanda Russell led Rural with 10. Amanda Hood added 8. MacPhail drilled a trey with two seconds left on the shot clock late in the game to bury the dagger in the Raiders. Colonels coach Chris Annett told the Charlottetown Guardian that fundamentals proved the difference. “I’m pretty confident in our skills and I guess it showed at the end.” McPhail said the dagger trey had eyes of its own. “It just happened to go in.”
