In the semis, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 71-32 as Mandy Lise McKenna scored 19, Cassie Goodwin 15 and Kristen Walker 12. Lisa McIver paced Hampshire Bluefield with 10. Lindsay Theuerkauf added 6. Gray led 30-14 at the half as Many Lisa McKenna hit three from beyond the arc.
In the other semi, the Summerside Three Oaks Axettes defeated the Charlottetown Rural Raiders 56-41 as Megan MacDonald scored 14, Stephanie Ryer 9, Shannon Noonan 9, along with 5 boards, and Lindsay Rodgerson 8, along with 5 boards. Erin Kinsman paced Rural with 14 points and 13 boards. Kate MacDonald scored 9 and Jalisa Jones 6. The Axettes led 27-22 at the half.
In the bronze medal match, the Charlottetown Rural Raiders defeated the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 46-31 as Erin Kinsman scored 12, Jessica Saunders 10 and Jalisa Jones 7. Lisa McIver paced the Bobcats with 15. The Bobcats (coached by Dale MacIsaac) also included Ellen MacKinnon, Susan Frizell.
In the final, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Summerside Three Oaks Axettes 56-48 as Cassie Goodwin scored 16 points and nabbed 10 boards. Suzanne Canvin added 9 points and 11 boards, while Ellen Eagan scored 8. Caitlin Carota paced the Axettes with 18 points. Megan McDonald added 13 points and 9 boards, while Stephanie Ryder scored 10. Colonel Gray built an early lead but the Axettes drew to within one at 29-28 early in the second half and then took the lead on a pair of free throws by Caitlin Carota. Colonel Gray’s Cassie Goodwin knotted the score at 27 with eight minutes to play and then hit a pair of buckets as Colonel Gray took a 49-43 lead with 1:30 on the clock.
