In the quarterfinals, the 7th-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-2 Colonels stomped the 10th-seeded Montague Vikings 75-49 after leading 42-27 at the half. Jessie Flemming paced the Colonels with 17. Kallum Muirhead added 16 and Serhii Sokolenko 10. Dyllin Bernard paced the Vikings with 16. Kyle Parlee added 15 and Mike V 12.
In the other quarterfinal, the 8th-seeded Souris Spartans stomped the 9th-seeded Kensington Torchmen 55-40 after leading 33-17 at the half. Ryan Acorn paced the Spartans with 15. Luke Chaisson added 14 and Randy Antle 12. Bailey Clark led the Torchmen with 19. Jordan Montgomery added 8 and Keegan Dyment 4. The Torchmen also included Bailey Clark, Jacob Blackett, Thomas Haslam, Ben Christopher, Austin Gallant.
In the semis, the Bluefield-1 Bobcats dispatched the Charlottetown Colonel Gray-2 Colonels 79-69 as Dylan MacMillian scored 23, Isaac Cheverie 19 and Alex MacKenzie 10. Jesse Flemming led the Colonels with 16. Melvin Sim-Turay added 14 and Kallum Muirhead 13.
In the other semi, the 5th-seeded Morell Marlins clocked the 8th-seeded Souris Spartans 83-51.
In the bronze medal match, the 7th-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-2 Colonels dispatched the 8th-seeded Souris Spartans 66-53 after leading 31-28 at the half. The Bobcats broke it open early in the second half as Jesse Flemming and Jonathan Mackenzie jointly ripped off 10 unanswered points. Jesse Flemming led the Colonels with 22. Jonathan Mackenzie added 11 and Kallum Muirhead 8, along with 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Josh MacIntosh paced the Spartans with 19. Isaac Cahill added 10, Ryan Acorn 8 and Luke Chaisson 8. The Spartans (coached by Kevin Jenkins, assisted by Brandon Ford and Randy MacAulay) also included Chandler MacAulay, Riley Flynn, Marcus Cahill, Brett Robertson, Austin Chaisson, Noah Manning, Randy Antle and Ben MacDonald.
In the final, the 6th-seeded Bluefield-1 Bobcats defeated the 5th-seeded Morell Marlins 74-65. The Bobcats led 16-10 after one quarter. The Marlins led 39-34 at the half and 51-50 after three quarters. Keegan McCarville hit a trey to give the Bobcats the lead with 2:31 to play. Then Dylan McKinnon notched an and-one as the Bluefield took command. “It was crazy. I’m just glad we pulled it off. I guess hard work through the year pays off,” McKinnon, who scored 16 and nabbed 12 boards, told the Charlottetown Guardian. Isaac Cheverie added 16, along with 6 boards, Keegan MacCarvill 16, and Evan Larkin 15. Stephen Young paced the Marlins with 22. Ethan Craig added 19, along with 15 boards, and Shane Pendergast 14. McKinnon said coached Paul Killorn and Matthew McKenna “kept telling us to keep pushing it. Believe your teammates can hit the shots. And they did.”
