In the quarterfinals, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Kensington Torchmen 74-53 as Jeff Perry scored 23, Jeff Bell 16 and Matt MacMillan 14. Logan MacKay led the Torchmen with 30. Trent Cousins added 10. Gray led 46-25 at the half.
In the other quarterfinal, the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats defeated the Montague Vikings 91-47 as Justin Moore scored 20, Nick Pharo 18 and Taylor Krupa 15. Andrew Campbell led Montague with 16. Cory Roach added 14.
In the semi-finals, the fourth-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels nipped the top-seeded Summerside Three Oaks Axemen 58-53 as Jeff Perry scored 25 and grabbed 8 boards. Jeff Bell scored 16 and Brett Richardson 10, along with 9 boards. Mike DesRoches led Summerside Three Oaks Axemen with 18. Chris Richard added 17 and Morgan Carlile 11 and 9 boards. The Axemen led 34-28 at the half. But Perry scored eight consecutive points midway through the second to give the Colonels their first lead. The Axemen got no closer than three down the stretch.
In the other semi, the Charlottetown Rural Raiders dumped the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 78-66 as 6-8 Mike MacIsaac scored 18 and nabbed 11 boards. Jamie Holland added 17, while ripping down 15 boards, including 12 on the offensive glass. Jared MacDonald scored 14, Mike Kelliher 9 and Doug Eamer 8. Nick Pharo led Hampshire Bluefield with 30 points and 9 boards. Taylor Krupa scored 14 and nabbed 17 boards. Justin Moore scored 11. Rural led 43-33 at the half and dominated the boards.
In the bronze medal match, the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats defeated the Summerside Three Oaks Axemen 73-70 in overtime as Taylor Krupa hit a running trey from mid-court. Nic Pharo had hit 4-4 from the line in the extra session to put Hampshire Bluefield ahead by three but Ian Kelly hit a trey with five seconds remaining to knot the score at 70 and set the stage for Krupa’s bomb. Justin Moore led Hampshire Bluefield with 22 points and 60 boards. Pharo scored 20 and nabbed 12 boards, while Krupa scored 21 and nabbed 11 boards. Morgan Carlile led the Axemen with 33 points. Mitchell DesRoches added 12 and Jordan Richard 8. Carlile had found Chris Richard for a bucket with 15 seconds remaining in regulation play to knot the score at 61. The Axemen also included Kevin Boucher.
In the final, the fourth-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels dumped the second-seeded Charlottetown Rural Raiders 77-58 as Jeff Perry scored 21 and grabbed 9 boards, Matt MacMillan 17 and grabbed 7 boards, Jeff Bell 14, Steve Reid 8 and Brett Richardson 9 and 9 boards. Nathen Clark led Rural with 15 points. Mike MacIsaac added 12 and Jared MacDonald 14. Gray led 32-27 at the half.
