In the quarterfinals, the 3rd-seed Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats crushed the 6th-seeded Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines 81-66 as Taylor Hayward scored 17. Matthew Sentner led the Wolverines with 26. The Wolverines (coached by Walter Dawson) also included Justin Smith.
The 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-AA Raiders dumped the 5th-seeded Summerside Three Oaks-A Axemen 82-56 as Jeff Murphy scored 19. Brian Richard and Shannon Dumaresque each scored 15 to pace Three Oaks. The Axemen (coached by David MacEachern) also included Matthew Williams, Jason Smith, Mark Richard, Dale Somers.

In the semis, the top-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-AA Colonels thrashed the 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-AA Raiders 74-46 as Neal Manning scored 16, Chris Connolly 11, Colin Stanley 10 and Jeff Grandy 10. Colonel Gray led 34-24 at the half. Nick MacEwan paced Rural with 9. Jeff Murphy added 8 and Craig Meek 8.
In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Summerside Three Oaks-AA Axemen defeated the 3rd-seeded Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 62-47 as Andrew Harrison scored 23, Adam Campbell 13 and Elliot Olscamp 10. Danny Stretch led Hampshire Bluefield with 12 Taylor Hayward added 9. The Axemen led 30-25 at the half.
In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-AA Raiders dumped the 3rd-seeded Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats 73-62 as Jeff Murphy scored 27 and Nick MacEwan 11. Danny Stretch paced the Bobcats with 20. The Bobcats (coached by Darryl Boudreau) also included Willie Berrouard, Taylor Hayward, Craig MacLean, Danny Ledwell, Adam Hood.
In the final, the 2nd-seeded Summerside Three Oaks-AA Axemen upset the top-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-AA Colonels 63-55. The Axemen’s superior size and speed proved the difference as they took a quick lead and never trailed. Coach Mike Leslie told the Charlottetown Guardian that “we’ve had a great battle with Colonel Gray all year. Every game is emotional. Following through on our game plan is probably the most satisfying aspect for me as it shows that the kids believe in what you’re telling them. Everything we talked about doing before the game, we did. Everything went just as we hoped it would.” Andrew Marchbank led Three Oaks with 13. Andrew Harrison added 12. Neal Manning led Colonel Gray with 14. Colin Stanley added 12. Harrison said “it’s an amazing way to end a high school career. Our guys stepped up and played just a great game. We used our size to pound the ball inside and we hustled on defence. It’s definitely the best way to go out.”
