Matt Nobles paced Montague with 15. Cory Roche added 14. Summerside Three Oaks Axemen led 34-27 at the half. The Vikings (coached by Dale Farish, assisted by Kevin Jenkins, managers Warren Keefe and Jordan Webster) also included Zachary White, Markus Gallant, Tim McCarthy, Jared Sudsbury, Rodney Myers, Mitchell Jay and Alex Moore.
In the semis, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Summerside Three Oaks Axemen 74-63 as Jordan Drake scored 19 and grabbed 7 boards. Kyle Innis added 13 points and 6 boards. Brandon Watters scored 13 and Tim Butler 10. Alex Campbell scored 26 for Summerside Three Oaks Axemen, while nabbing 8 boards. Steve Hardy scored 18 and grabbed 8 boards. Mitch Adams scored 8 and grabbed 12 boards, while Tyler Bradley scored 7. Gray led 34-32 at the half.
In the other semi, the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats defeated the Charlottetown Rural Raiders 58-43 as Jeremy MacKinnon scored 20 and grabbed 10 boards. Paul Killoorn scored 14 and nabbed 9 boards, while Kevin McQuaid scored 11 and nabbed 6 boards. Mitch Eamer paced Rural with 10 points. Kyle Seaman scored 8 and nabbed 8 boards. Cameron McAskill scored 8 and nabbed 9 boards. Hampshire Bluefield led 25-12 at the half. Hampshire Bluefield took command with a 15-0 run late in the first half.
In the bronze medal match, the Charlottetown Rural Raiders defeated Summerside Three Oaks Axemen 57-54 as Alex Stevenson scored 20, Cameron McAskill 15 and Mitch Eamer 13. Alex Campbell paced Three Oaks with 22. Steve Hardy added 13 and Mitch Adams 9. The Axemen (coached by Dave MacNeill) also included x.
In the final, the Hampshire Bluefield Bobcats edged the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels 52-51 as tournament MVP Jeremy MacKinnon scored 15 and Paul Killorn 12, while nabbing 6 boards. Kevin McQuaid added 11, while Michael Jones scored 8 and grabbed 8 boards. Brandon Watters paced Charlottetown Colonel Gray with 10 points and 11 boards. Jordan Drake added 9 points. It was tight all the way. Hampshire Bluefield took an early 6-5 lead but Colonel Gray rallied to knot the score at 17 and then built a 31-25 lead at the half. But Hampshire Bluefield rallied back and regained an edge before Luke Carmichael drilled a trey to knot the score at 40. Hampshire Bluefield took a 52-49 lead with just over two minutes to play and hung on for the win.
