Raheem Johnson paced the Gryphons with 23. Will Colpitts added 12. Tristan Hyde led the Cheetahs with 21. Alex Muise added 10. In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Greenwich Horton Gryphons spanked the 4th-seeded Dartmouth Prince Andrew Panthers 94-68. The Panthers (coached by Ken Cooper) included Terence Brooks, Ben Kidston, Kai Krausher, Ian MacDonald and Eli Kraushar.
In the final, the top-seeded Cole Harbour Auburn Drive Eagles nipped the 2nd-seeded Halifax Citadel Phoenix 104-101 to capture their third consecutive provincial title and fourth in five years. Greg Manual paced the Eagles with 29. Johneil Johnson added 28 and Levi Smith III 14. Will Fiander led the Phoenix with 25. Jaydan Smith added 23 and Jack Campbell 22. The Eagles broke to a 17-11 lead and extended their margin to 30-22 after one quarter as Levi Smith and Greg Manual got on track. But Connor Gasgione began working free in the blocks as the Phoenix ripped off a 9-0 run to take a 31-30 lead. The Phoenix led 51-47 at the half. But Johneil Johnson took command in the second half. “We are just blessed and it’s about hard work, the work didn’t stop when practice was over, you keep working on your game to get better and better,” Johnson told the Halifax Chronicle-Herald.
