In the quarterfinals, Glace Bay St. Michael’s Warriors stunned the top-seeded Windsor Regional Warlords 52-46. Glace Bay led 28-26 at the half and held high scoring guard Don Ehler to 12 points. The Warlords (coached by Ian MacMillan) also included Jamie Duncanson and Wayne Kehoe.
The Halifax St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish defeated 2nd-seeded Coxheath Riverview Rural Royals 54-51. Alfie MacLeod scored 19 for Riverview. The Royals (coached by Joe Metz) also included Carter Chapdelaine and Geoff MacKay.
Mike Jones scored 14 to lead the Truro Cobequid Educational Centre Cougars past the Middleton Regional Monarchs 57-29. Cobequid held all-star Lynwood Peters to 8 points.

In the semis, Glace St. Michael’s dumped the 4th-seeded Auburn West Kings Wolverines 46-37. The Wolverines (coached by Clary Laing) included Phil MacDonnell, Greg Marks and Kim Lowney.
In the other semi, Mike Jones scored 19 as the Truro Cobequid Educational Centre Cougars defeated the Halifax St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish 53-31. Cobequid led 18-4 after the first quarter and coasted to the win. The Irish (coached by Terry O’Neill) included Ian Burke, Brian Harris and Tom Sampson.
In the final, the Truro Cobequid Educational Centre Cougars won their first title defeating Glace Bay St. Michael’s Warriors 53-45. Mike Jones led Truro with 14 points, dominated the boards and was an unstoppable force in the paint. Cobequid led 29-28 at the half and alternated their defence between a zone and man-to-man in the second half, in which they outscored St. Michael’s 26-17.
