In the northeast sectionals and provincial quarterfinals, held in Moncton, the 2nd-seeded Fredericton Black Kats pounded the Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders 82-25. The Highlanders were coached by Alyssa Lebans.
The top-seeded Moncton Purple Knights dusted the 4th-seeded Saint John St. Malachy’s Memorial Saints 91-69.
In the southwest sectional, held in Kennebecasis Valley, the 2nd-seeded Riverview Royals defeated the 3rd-seeded Sussex Regional Sonics 64-51. The Sonics (coached by Durck deWinter) included Taylor Bunnell, Marleigh Robertson.
In the last quarterfinal, the top-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders clocked the 4th-seeded Dieppe Mathieu-Martin Vedettes 99-48.
In the provincial semis, the Fredericton Black Kats dispatched the Moncton Purple Knights 83-71.
In the other semi, the Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders torched the Riverview Royals 75-47.
In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats clubbed the Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 63-43 after leading 9-2, 25-13 and 44-26 at the quarters. Lucy Beaumont paced the Black Kats with 15 on 5-13 from the floor, 2-3 from the arc, 3-6 from the line and 4 boards.
