In the northeast sectional and provincial quarterfinals, the 2nd-seeded Fredericton Black Kats clocked the 3rd-seeded Riverview Royals 83-61. The Royals (coached by Todd Coleman and Mark McAleese) included Devon Leger, Zack Leaman, Brandon Linthorne, Nathan Rose, Chris Robin, Jacob Reyes, Issac Mullen, Logan Grossman, Oliver Fogarty, Nathan Doucet, Cody Barton, Josh Armstrong and Dylan Pearson.
The top-seeded Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders crushed the 4th-seeded Saint John Simonds Seabees 111-38.
In the southwest sectional, held in Saint John, the 3rd-seeded Fredericton Leo Hayes Lions edged the Moncton Purple Knights 67-61. The Purple Knights (coached by Andrew MacPherson, Dino DiBonaventura and Matt Kinney) included Ben George, Blake Rowe, Andrew Estey, Ed Achas, Nick Hofer, Beck Taekama, Marc Hofer, Chris Cameron-Kogler, John Muhiga, Alex Gallant, Souleye Drisdelle and Jerome Tshimpangila.
In the last quarterfinal, the Saint John Greyhounds stomped the Miramichi Valley Pulamoo 97-61. The Pulamoo included Kyron Amos, Ryerson Bell, David Wilson, Benson Doak, Gehrig Hale, Liam Richardson.
In the provincial semis, the Fredericton Black Kats whipped the Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders 97-68.
In the other semi, the Saint John Greyhounds clipped the Fredericton Leo Hayes Lions 72-55.
In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats torched the Saint John Greyhounds 97-58 after lead 26-11, 52-31 and 82-42 at the quarters. Gayo Isaya paced the Black Kats with 23 on 8-11 from the floor, 2-3 from the arc, 5-7 from the line and 7 boards. Noah McCarthy added 21 on 5-12 from the floor, 1-4 from the arc, 10-13 from the line, 5 boards and 4 assists. Austin Kendall scored 14 on 7-8 from the floor and 2 boards. Minwoo Park added 12 on 5-14 from the floor, 0-2 from the arc, 2-2 from the line, 9 boards and 10 assists. Garan Davies added 11 on 4-5 from the floor and 3-3 from the arc.
