In the northeast sectional and provincial quarterfinals, the 2nd-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders edged the 3rd-seeded Riverview Royals 68-66. The Royals (coached by Todd Coleman, Mike MacDougall and Mark McAleese) included Ryan Coleman, Leif Henricks, Ben Pugsley, Lucas Campbell, Billy Cole, Brant Guimond, Adam Currie, Zack Kenny, Justin Drapeau and Kyle Rossiter.

        The 4th-seeded Fredericton Leo Hayes Lions smacked the top-seeded Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders 109-79. The Highlanders (coached by Steve Chapman, assisted by Nick Earle and Eric Matheson) included Brody Blakney, Michael O’Blenes, Luke Nelson, Tyler Thorne, Daniel Im, Donnie Grant, Patrick McWilliam, Logan Wagner, James French, Zach Keiver, Sam Moore and Will McNally.

        In the southwest sectional, the 2nd-seeded Miramichi Valley Pulamoo dusted the 3rd-seeded Sussex Regional Sonics 73-63. The Sonics included Will Raymond, Alan Nixon.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Fredericton Black Kats whipped the Moncton Purple Knights 82-64. The Knights (coached by Andrew MacPherson, Dino DiBonaventura and Matt Kinney) included Josh Robart, Austin Quinn, Andrew Estey, Justin Wyryha, Cameron Wortman, Cameron Fury, Sullivan O’Blenis, Marc Hofer, Chris Cameron-Kogler, Caleb Ryder, Will Chin and Alex Woodford.

        In the semis, the Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders edged the Fredericton Leo Hayes Lions 71-69.

        In the other semi, the Fredericton Black Kats clipped the Miramichi Valley Pulamoo 94-81.

In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats stomped the Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 90-65 after leading 30-20, 49-24 and 71-47 at the quarters. Seongwoo Park paced the Black Kats with 25 on 9-21 from the floor, 3-7 from the arc, 4-6 from the line, 5 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals. Peter MacDonald added 14 on 5-8 from the floor, 4-4 from the arc, 10 boards, 7 assists and 3 steals. Jack Berkshire added 11 on 5-18 from the floor, 0-9 from the arc, 1-2 from the line, 11 boards and 3 assists. Minwoo Park added 10 on 3-3 from the floor, 4-5 from the line, 2 boards and 3 assists.
