The MHSAA votes to eliminate the bronze medal playoff.

        In the quarterfinals, held in Steinbach, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders defeated the Balmoral Hall Blazers 48-29 as Lydia Cote scored 18. The Blazers were coached by Holly Reader.

        The Grandview Spartans defeated the Wawanesa Warriors x-x. The Warriors included Max Minary, Linda Seafoot.

        The Riverton Patriots defeated the Manitou Nellie McClung Tigers x-x. The Tigers included Betty Braun, Bev Stewart.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Shoal Lake Sharks defeated the Lynn Lake West Lynn Heights Northstars x-x. The North Stars (coached by Miss D Horbas) included Faye Lian Yip, Hollie Lysek, Pat Redman, Diane Redman, Lisa Taylor, Shannon Magson, Linda Carriere, Debbie Yalowski, Lenora Yalowski, Mary Jo Roberts, Dora Gregorash and Candace Neufeld.

        In the semis, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders stomped the Grandview Spartans 35-10.

        In the other semi, the Shoal Lake Sharks dispatched the Riverton Patriots x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, the Riverton Patriots defeated the Grandview Spartans x-x.

In the final, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders crushed the Shoal Lake Sharks 59-10 as Lydia Cote scored 26. The Raiders finished the campaign with a (29-1) record.
