In the quarterfinals, the 5th-seeded Forrest Elton Sabres edged the 4th-seeded Carman Cougars 51-46 as Katelyn Deremiens and Melissa Mueller each scored 12. The Cougars included Dayna Phillips.
The 3rd-seeded Roblin Goose Lake Angels dumped the 6th-seeded Warren Wildcats 72-37 as Kaylee Wilson scored 26, Kalyn Warner 17, Kayleen Ulrich 16 and Shenelle Pare 15. The Wildcats also included Randi Girard.
The 2nd-seeded Boissevain Broncos defeated the 7th-seed St. Anne Lady Lynx 53-39 as Holly Kroeker scored 14.
The top-seeded Carberry Cougars thrashed the 9th-seeded Winnipeg Immanual Christian Falcons 77-47 as Gillian Deurksen scored 27.
In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Boissevain Broncos defeated the 3rd-seeded Roblin Goose Lake Angels 57-49 as Stephanie Campbell scored 14. Faye Zachedniak led the Angels with 18. Shenelle Pare added 11, Kaylee Wilson 10 and Teresa Senderewich 6. The Angels also included Kayleen Ulrich.
In the other semi, the top-seeded Carberry Cougars defeated the 5th-seeded Forrest Elton Sabres 58-41.
In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Roblin Goose Lake Angels defeated the 5th-seeded Forrest Elton Sabres 44-27 as Shenelle Pare scored 16, Teresa Senderewich 16, Kristi Hunter 13 and Faye Zachedniak 9. Katelyn Deremiens paced Elton with 16. The Sabres (coached by Jon Zilkey).
In the final, the 2nd-seeded Boissevain Broncos tripped the top-seeded Carberry Cougars 67-58 as Holly Kroeker scored 24 and Stephanie Campbell 18. Gillian Deurksen paced Carberry with 25. “It was really awesome because we did it two years in a row,” said Holly Kroeker. “Especially in the Grade 12 year now. I knew we had a good chance if we played well. We played our best and we came together at the end.”
